The gap between the accounting asset register and the field reality is what most often unsettles the external auditor and delays financial close: assets fully depreciated on the books yet still running, assets long gone but still carried, and locations nobody is accountable for.
We conduct a full field inventory of the entity's assets — furniture and fittings, computers and network hardware, machinery and equipment, vehicles and building installations — documenting precise location, technical condition, the custodian responsible and a photograph of every asset.
We close with an explicit reconciliation between your records and reality: assets present and recorded, present but unrecorded, and recorded but missing — the list from which any genuine correction begins.

Frequently asked questions
How long does an inventory take?
It depends on asset and site counts. A typical site of three thousand assets completes in one to two weeks; we provide a committed schedule after a scoping visit.
Does the count disrupt daily operations?
No. We work in small teams to an agreed schedule, and can operate outside business hours or in phases where sites are sensitive.
What if assets are found that are not in the records?
They are logged in the variance report with a proposed accounting treatment, and if the entity needs their value recognised we can value them under our accreditation within the same project.
