Contract Care & Review

Contracts written to be read on the day of the dispute, not only on the day of signature.

Most disputes that reach the courts could have been closed by a single line in the contract. We therefore treat contract review as preventive work with a direct return, not a formality before signature.

We review commercial, construction, supply, distribution and agency contracts, employment agreements, leases, real-estate development and services contracts, issuing a review report that grades observations into three tiers: material risks that should stop signature, negotiable points, and drafting improvements.

For higher-volume clients we also build a standardised template library with an internal negotiation playbook defining the minimum acceptable position on each clause, reducing the need to review every contract individually.

Who this service is for

  • Companies with recurring contract portfolios
  • Developers and contractors in execution and supply agreements
  • Government entities in operation and maintenance contracts
  • Family businesses in shareholder agreements
  • Growth companies in investment rounds and licensing

How we work

  1. 01

    Understanding the deal

Identifying the commercial purpose, the stronger negotiating party and the acceptable risk.

  2. 02

    Graded review

A report grading observations into material, negotiable and drafting-level issues.

  3. 03

    Replacement drafting

Proposing ready-to-insert wording rather than merely flagging the defect.

  4. 04

    Negotiation support

Attending negotiation rounds and controlling the final version before signature.

Frequently asked questions

Do you review English-language contracts?

Yes, we review contracts in Arabic and English and flag divergences between versions in bilingual agreements, since the primacy of the Arabic text before Saudi judicial bodies is a material issue.

How long does reviewing a single contract take?

Standard contracts are reviewed within two business days. Complex agreements such as major construction contracts take three to seven business days depending on size and annexes.

Can we subscribe to monthly review instead of ad-hoc requests?

Yes. We offer a monthly retainer covering an agreed number of contracts with a committed response time — the better fit for companies signing contracts weekly.
